IT ALL STARTS WITH A SEED
Ben Wisdom seed for the produce industry sprouted in 1993 when he began selling on the weekends at the City Market. From that, grew his dream of someday becoming a store owner. Reality came in 2000, after the birth of his daughter. The experience he has obtained comes from harvesting directly from the fields to working on the docks loading and unloading on the docks, to displaying produce in a colorful way for customers. Cristina’s Produce goes beyond a place to purchase fruits and vegetables. This is produce you would be proud of and wish you had the time and the resources to pick it from your own garden. Through all of Ben’s experiences he recognized the “Power of Produce” His claim to fame at the City Market is the fact he has been a vendor in each spot and worked in every stall.

Ben takes great pride in a vast seasonal produce selection, seasonal produce from around the world and local farms when available. Ben is proud to be able to bring economical and healthy eating to customers, you will find more than 100 different products to choose from.

He has two passions in life, fresh produce being one and the one closest to his heart, Cristina, his daughter. With noticeable heartfelt passion, Ben has been on Fox 4 a number of times and featured on marketing and television spots because of eye appealing presentation of his products. Companies including Edward Jones, Phillips 66 and New York companies. A great presentation is a key to his success and keeps customers coming back.

Cristina’s Produce is located in the historic City Market in Kansas City Missouri, open 365 days per year, including holidays!
